Mapping of DFID’s Support to Fragile States and literature review

Agulhas was invited to produce a quantitative analysis of DFID’s spending and performance data in fragile states, based on DFID’s management information systems.

We prepared a literature review on aid effectiveness in fragile states and case studies of DFID’s engagement in six countries, highlighting current approaches to maximising the effectiveness of assistance.  This added to previous Agulhas work undertaken in 2006.

Case study countries: Cambodia, DRC, Nepal, Pakistan, Yemen and Zimbabwe
