Implementation of Joint HIV/AIDs review process in Kenya
Findings focussed on the roles and responsibilities through out the NACC system, how they were defined and how they worked out in practice.
There was no place where all partners supporting the Kenya National HIV/AIDS Strategy Plan NSP met (apart from the Technical Working Group) to discuss the programmme and co-ordination issues.
It was also important to strengthen ministries HIV/AIDS co-ordinating units, looking at organizational location, clarification of roles and responsibilities and ensuring that they possess the necessary skills for effective leadership in sectoral implementation.
