Analysis of Aid Development and Effectiveness Issues
“From Aid Effectiveness to Development Effectiveness,” reflects the changing nature of the international debate leading up to the fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness. The Paris Declaration focused mainly on the mechanics of aid delivery, seeking to eliminate bottlenecks to more effective assistance.
In preparation for the meeting, the organisers commissioned short background papers on each of the six roundtable topics. The papers outline the main issues and points of debate associated with each topic, and reflect on how each topic might fit within an African development effectiveness agenda.
