Economic advice and support to the DFID assistance programme for Pakistan

Work included strengthening the medium term budget framework, trade policy capacity building, health sector strengthening with a £60m package, development of national and provincial level poverty reduction strategy papers, development of new financial aid instruments in the education sector, liaison with the related work of the World Bank on its Structural Adjustment Credit and with the IMF on its Poverty Reduction and Growth Facility.
