Catherine Cameron
Chair of Board of Directors
Catherine is non-executive Chair of Agulhas. She is one of the co-Founders and played a leading role in building Agulhas over the last 23 years and the transition to employee ownership in December 2020.
She supports other employee-owned companies as an independent trustee or Chair of the Trust board. She has chaired both UK limited companies and not for profits, along with several advisory board positions. She has experience with companies in the FMCG, retail, food and aerospace sectors. Catherine has worked in over 45 countries in Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean and South Asia over the last 40 years.
Her core technical expertise is in ESG, particularly climate and sustainability. She was a core member of the 2006 Stern Review. She is a certified Director with the Institute of Directors and a member of the Essex Climate Action Commission, supporting the transition to a cleaner, greener, healthier county.
