In 2024, GGGI commissioned a mid-term Evaluation of its Strategy 2030 to support accountability and learning as well as assess progress toward achieving the organisation’s 2030 vision. 

Strategy 2030 sets an ambitious, robust, and clear 2030 vision and targets to help accelerate the success of GGGI and its mandate to support Members achieve impacts by creating systemic change in the green growth landscape through low-carbon economic development.

The evaluation assessed progress toward intended results during the first four years of the Strategy’s implementation, the continued relevance of strategic goals and operational priorities, and the internal and external factors influencing implementation. Findings centered on four areas: prioritization and achievement of results, responsiveness and strategic leadership, core enabling services, and GGGI’s strategic niche and value proposition.
