IT and Data Management Officer
Eddy joined Agulhas to help ensure the company can work smoothly and effectively to achieve its goals. They have an extensive background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, a strong passion for problem-solving and commitment to continuous learning so they can stay on top of the ever changing world of information technology.
Eddy joined Agulhas on an apprenticeship and passed the end-point-assessment with Distinction, achieving a Level 3 Information Communication Technology qualification. They have experience working on computer hardware and software, having built their own PC and developed some accessibility features for it. Eddy previously studied Post Production and worked as a professional Video Editor and still enjoys working on the odd video project in their free time.
Key work skills
Within the scope of IT, Eddy’s key skills lie in troubleshooting and problem-solving. There’s nothing more satisfying than an elegant solution to an inelegant problem. They have experience fixing all sorts of hardware and software issues on laptops and desktop computers.
Other interests
Outside of work Eddy enjoys watching Ice Hockey, practising Archery, watching Godzilla films and going for a walk in the woods in search of a pretty rock and a really good stick.
