Senior Analyst

As an Analyst at Agulhas, Olivia assists with research and analysis across the CRUNCH and Climate Hubs. As a Project Officer across reviews produced for the Independent commission for Aid Impact (ICAI), Olivia provides project management and operational support to teams and external consultants. She is currently supporting work on an ICAI rapid review of UK aid’s International Climate Finance commitments, ICAI’s 2022-2023 annual Follow Up review, a MOPAN review of the World Health Organization, and drafting the AfDB African Gender Index.

Prior to her role at Agulhas, Olivia was studying at the London School of Economics where she earned a Masters degree in Development Studies with a concentration in Applied Development Economics. Her MSc dissertation sought to quantitatively assess the impact of the arrival of fast internet on human trafficking rates in Sub-Saharan Africa. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs and Political Science, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics and French from Florida State University.


Key work skills

Olivia has experience working with a range of development partners, including foundations, nonprofits and think tanks. Her areas of interest include economic development, domestic resource mobilisation, social development, and human trafficking-related topics. Olivia is skilled in undertaking a range of research tasks, including statistical and data analysis, large scale desk reviews, and interview analysis.

Other interests

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys teaching fitness classes at studios across London, including a barbell class and a rebounding (mini trampoline) class. She also enjoys taking her mini schnauzer puppy, Lola, on long walks through Hampstead Heath.
