Giulia is Junior Fellow at Agulhas, providing research and analysis across Agulhas’ portfolio of projects. Giulia currently works as an analyst supporting the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI). She has worked as an analyst on the ICAI review on UK aid’s contribution to tackling tax avoidance and tax evasion in developing countries.

Holding various roles within the International development sector, Giulia has 5 years’ experience in project and operational management with the NGO Jandira Onlus, and in fundraising and bid-writing with the consultancy Inova Ltd. She evaluated projects for IFAD and the European Commission. She led the feasibility research for a potato seed production project in Angola for the NGO World Vision. She has also been involved for short projects with a number of NGOs including Habitat for Humanity, Greenpeace, and Centro Astalli.

Giulia holds a BSc in International Relations from the University of Roma Tre and a MSc in Political Economy of Development from the London School of Economics. She fluently speaks Italian, French and Portuguese.
